at 24th the jets had the right to take a flyer. I didn't know a lot about this kid before but after reading about his potential I think we will all agree in a few years that the jets did it again and got amazing value in their pick. And he's a fin, I think he will fit in nicely with Laine!
now..... time for another goaltender |

Not debating right or wrong but I'm curious, how many Canadians have we drafted in the last two years? |

"We tried to make a move at the draft, a couple of options were presented to us, but we felt as if the price to make a move was too high." -Kevin Cheveldayoff
I have his yearly speech memorized that I don't even have to listen to what he is going to say. |

Yakupov is a free agent! I would love for the Jets to sign him to a contract. Low risk, high reward. |

Seriously? Why? We don't have room on our top nine for our own guys, why bring in another guy with questions marks. Would you honestly want him taking a spot on the top nine from Connor, Armia, Petan?? Cause that's what you are saying. Makes zero sense. We don't need scoring. |

My lines:
Petan-Scheifele-Wheeler
Ehlers-Little-Laine
Connor-Perrault-Yakupov
Dano-Lowry-Armia
Copp would be the 13th forward.
Looks pretty solid to me . Connor also needs to play with someone who has speed and I believe that Yakupov has that speed. He is also very low risk with very high rewards. |

Hey Peter,
I am hearing on TSN1290 and in Elliot's 30 thoughts that Elliot may be coming to Winnipeg. What do you think of that? Elliot also mentioned that the Jets were in on Kulikov. Would he be a good #6?

I heard this morning from a source close to the team that Elliot signing with the Jets is a done deal.
